The line graph illustrates the figure for enquiries that the Tourist Information recieved in one city over a half year during 2011.
In a comprehensive analysis, it is unmistakable that enquires given in person and telephone saw an upward trend, while that by letter or email went down. In addition, the graph shows a significant transformation in the order and data of the three categories.
To delve into the specifics, between January and March, the methods of sending enquiries did not have a big gap. There was a slight growth of around 100 with the enquiries which sent by telephone, whilst the number of that in person ascended by 200. In contrast, this period of time saw a downward trend for enquiries sent by letter or email of nearly 100. In the middle of February, the method of recieving in person has surpassed letter or email and became the second most common one in this graph.
Moving to the remaining period, from March to June, an enormous rise by more than 1100 of enquiries in person was seen. Thanks to the massive growth, this method has overcame aothers and held the leading position starting from the middle of March. The figure that chose telephone also increased to 1600 but can not be as sharp as face-to-face. By contrast, the number of enquiries recieved by letter and email still diminished to around 400 by the conclusion of the observation period.
