Overall, the process consists of 6 stages. First, wood is cut with special equipments and outlined. The last stages are removing wood and decorating the shoe.
The production of traditional wooden shoes begins with cutting the wood with poplar or willow. Cutted wood is then outlined with axe to make the wood sleeker. The next stage is carving the outlined wood into small pieces.
After that, the interior part is hollowed out using two tools: a spoon drill and a gouge, which is marked as boring out. Once hollowing is complet, the shoe goes through the finishing stage, where sandapaper is used to smooth both inside and outside of shoe. In the final step, the shoes may optically decorated and delivered to the shops
