The given process diagram illustrates the way in which the traditional wooden shoes called clogs are made.
Overall, the process consists of 6 stages, starting from cutting the suitable for the base wood to decorating a compleated pair of shoes.
Taking a closer look, the first step is to cut a wooden polar or a willow using a saw. Following that, the wooden piece is being held by a craftsman’s free hand and outlined using an axe. Subsequently, this outlined item is then placed on a special platform, where it is pealed using a long knife.
After that, the wooden pieces are fixed in a secure way, and then the craftsman carves out the inside of the shoes using a spoon drill. Following that, a sandpaper is used to make sure that the sufrace of the shoes is smooth, and that nobody gets hurt when wearing them. The final and rather optional step is to decorate your clogs, by painting them in any colour and adding some bright pieces on top.
