Dear Mr. Brown,
I am writing to discuss my current position within our company. I feel strongly that I need to change my department due to a variety of reasons. I believe I have acquired all the necessary knowledge and skills in my current field of expertise, but I am eager to challenge myself and develop my skills in marketing.
Firstly, I believe that my personal characteristics, along with my professional skills, make me a strong candidate for this transition. In my current role, I have been managing customer complaints for several years. Furthermore, I was nominated for the Best Employee award for handling the most challenging customer cases, which I finally received last year after being recognized for my efforts since March 2020.
Secondly, transferring within the company would provide corporate benefits, as it would eliminate the need to pay extra for hiring a new employee. Additionally, I am already familiar with the company culture, unlike new hires who require time to adjust. I understand that this transition could save both time and budget for the company. Moreover, I am known for my dedication to my work and have consistently stayed late when needed, which can sometimes be a challenge for fresh recruits.
