Dear Rakesh,

I am very grateful to you for letting me stay at your house last week. I had a really good time catching up with you and meeting your family. It would have been hard for me to find a place in a new country, but with your accomodation support I was able to attend my conference very smoothly. Unfortunately, I left my envelope with some important documents in at your place. And I was wondering if you would be able to send it to me by post.

On my travel day, I was hurrying in packing my bags to not miss my flight. So, in such a haste I forgot to take the envelope with me. It is in the first drawer of bed-side table in the room where I stayed. The envelope is red in color and its size is A4, it also has my name written on it. The envelope contains a five-page document which is very important for my work.

I would be very thankful to you if you could send it to me by post at my residential address, which is 87 Linton Street, Kingston, Ontario K7K1N6. I would make it up for you when we meet on christmas eve, first round of drink will be on me. I also welcome you to visit my place and stay with us for few days. I hope to see you soon again!
