Dear Mr. Evans,I hope you are in good health. I am writing to you in hopes of joining your esteemed sports club as I am a keen fan of various sports as well as to be acquianted with new people in our neighbourhood. I am specifically interested in your club as I have heard quite about the culture and openness of your renowned club.

I have been quite a big fan of football and was wanting to participate in games with like-minded individuals who share the same passion as me. You could also say I am more inclined to join to have some banter along with the folk while we watch the games! Another sport I am trying to get into is Billiards, but perhaps, I would be able to get better with some help from someone who actually knows what they are doing.

You will also be glad to know that I am very good at chess, which is one of the things which your club has yet to open up to. I would be very glad if you would want me to help you setup chess at our local sports club, in hopes of bringing more sports and making more friends as we go.
