Dear Mr. Soprano,
I am writing to follow up on the accident that I had inside your supermarket two weeks ago.
I was at your store at 2:00 PM on June 27 to get groceries for my family when I fell in the condiments aisle due to the floor being wet. I was wearing formal leather shoes, which caused me to lose my grip and slip. I did not realize that the aisle floor was wet, as there were no signs around.
The staff was quite helpful in helping me up and letting me use the employees-only bathroom to clean myself. John, in particular, was very kind and gentle with the way he helped me. I found the hospitality and the service of your employees very impressive.
As I mentioned earlier, the cause of my accident was the absence of “wet floor” signs. In the interest of avoiding future accidents like this, I recommend that you advise the janitorial staff to be mindful of placing signs on floors that were just mopped. I am not registering a formal complaint at this time because I understand that accidents like this happen sometimes. I look forward to your response soon.
Best regards,
Umair.
