Dear neighbor, I’m really sorry but I can’t go to dinner party due to an unforeseen emergency I had.

I was preparing for the dinner party, and almost was ready to go, but suddenly emergency call went. My mom was hospitalized after a tragic accident. I was must to go and see her.

I am really sorry that I couldn’t arrive to the party and didn’t even show up. I’m very ashamed for missing party.

How can I atone myself? What about a appointment in a restaurant, your family with my family. We will talk, have some fun.
