Dear Mr. Jack.

I hope this message finds you well. I’m writing to apologize as I would not be able to attend the dinner party at your place as I caught up by a severe fever.

Actually, I went to hospital last night as one of my relative got injured badly in an accident. Due to that, I was not able to sleep at all, and hence, I catched a fever alongwith cough and cold. Therefore, I won’t be able to join you guys at the party.

I will really miss all of you. I had already made many plans for playing games like Dumb cherades, Uno and Housie. In addition, I was quite excited as I was going to have your popular and flavourful dish of Arabian pasta for dinner. Unfortunately, I am going to miss all this things and I am feeling very bad about it.

Anyways, we will meet for sure, once I get completely okay with my health. Also, we will plan a get-to-gather again at my weekend house. We will have fun there.
