Overall, ballet class has the most number of students who are under 11. In contrast, modern dance class’s students are mostly teenagers from 11 to 16. In addition, nearly a half of dance classes located in private studios.
Examining the bar chart in more details, the number of students under 11 in ballet class is significantly higer than that of students from 11 to 16. In contrast, the majority trainees of modern dance class are teenagers. In comparison, the number of students who are children and teenagers in tap dance class are nearly the same.
Analyzing the pie chart, the percentage of dance classes located in private studios is the highest, at 48%, followed by those located in school halls ( after-school), community halls and others at 24% and 18% respectively. The remaining 10% was taken up by dance classes organized in college-based studios.
