Dear Sir,

I am writing to request a reduction in my working hours, as I am planning to begin part-time studies alongside my job.

The main reason for this request is that I have enrolled in a part-time course that will help me improve my professional skills and knowledge. Balancing full-time work with my studies would be quite challenging, so reducing my working hours would allow me to manage both responsibilities effectively without affecting my performance at work.

Ideally, I would like to work from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., five days a week. This schedule would ensure that I remain available during the busiest hours while also giving me sufficient time in the afternoons to attend classes and complete assignments.

I strongly believe that my studies will be beneficial to the company. The course focuses on skills that are directly related to my current role, such as communication, problem-solving, and time management. As a result, I will be able to contribute more efficiently and bring new ideas to the workplace.
