Dear Sir,

I am writing to you regarding my working hours. Could you please consider my proposal to reduce my working hours. The reason I am asking is I applied for university. My lessons starts every day from Monday till Friday early in the morning at 8 am till 1 pm. Would you please allow me to work every day after my lessons finish from 2 pm till 6 pm?

My study will be beneficial as I work as an engineer and I am going to study engineering in one of the best universities and get master’s degree. I believe this will give me more opportunities and I can get valuable knowledge that I can use at work. In addition I can bring new ideas and learn new engineering techniques which we can adopt to make our business better. Moreover I can share my knowledge with other colleagues that means we can grow all together as a team.
