Dear Boss,

I hope this letter finds you well.

I am writing to grant your permission to reduce my working hours for sometimes which is related to build up my skill.

Recently, I have purchased a quick turnaround course from ABC website and it is very helpful towards for our project as course contained current technology modules such as Cloud and Artificial Intelligence. Usually this course has 4 days live classes including weekend. I will be able to manage my weekend classes though, I have to take 2 days off from my current work especially on Monday and Wednesday. Apart from this, I can be able to come for work all other days as per the schedule.

Additionally, this course will give very good benefit to our organization’s pipeline project as in that we are planning to introduce AI chat bot for the business users. I will have to clear different kind of assignments and tests in completion of each module.

I would be really appreciate your support on this matter and looking forward to hearing back about your decision.
