Dear Sir,

I am writing this letter to express my interest to work as a volunteer at the forthcoming Dada Community Event which is themed ‘Helping the young stars shine.’

I am Esther, the first daughter of Mr. Amao Family – the Treasurer of the community. Recently, I came across a poster advertising for experienced volunteers for the event which will take place on Saturday, 27th of May this year which happens to also be Childrens’ Day.

I have been fortunate to work at 6 events in which 4 were majorly centered about caring for children. Also, I have won 2 awards which were for rendering exceptional services while volunteering. I am interested in our community own because the is an opportnity for children who were born into a struggling family to experience love, care and a good lifestyle. Some kids might be lucky to get sponsorship to a level of education or to learn a trade. Furthermore, this is a way for me to give back to the community I grew up in.

If I am opportuned to be selected, I will be bringing my excellent skills and experience cobined with the teamwork spirit. The main objective is for everything to be a success and that starts with a good planning and getting sponsors which I happen to also be experienced in.

I hope to get your response to my request quickly, so that I could plan ahead for the event.
