Dear Headmaster,

I hope this letter finds you well and that preparations for the upcoming trip to India are progressing smoothly. I am writing to express my interest in joining the school’s trip to India, as I am the father of Smit, who is a student at your school and will be part of this trip.

The main reason I would like to join the trip is to visit my best friend, who has been living in India for a few years. I haven’t had the opportunity to meet him in a couple of years, and this trip would be a wonderful chance to reconnect.

Furthermore, I would be happy to assist in planning the daily itinerary and recommending the best attractions for accommodation and sightseeing, as I lived in India until I graduated. Additionally, my friend, who resides in India, would be happy to assist as a tour guide since he is knowledgeable about the history and geography of many places there.

Lastly, I have a few questions regarding the trip. How will we be traveling to India? Also, I would like to know the process for submitting passports for visa stamping.

I look forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience.
