Dear Sir,
I am writing to express my support and reasons for asserting that cutting down the work hours of the staff members is a positive idea.I will throw light on how to do it and its merits to the organization.
It is obvious ,that the mass exit of staff members to
abroad has skyrocketed the work hours on the few remaining workers. This invariably tripled the work load on them. Good news is that , the human resources resources have deployed some newly recruited workers organization. I believe the duty alterations in the roster could be done to relive the workers who are already over stretched from doing overtime regularly and weekend duties as well.
Furthermore, job rosters could be modified by introducing 3 shift pattern covering 8 hours, rather than the regular 2 shift pattern for 12 hours. This will enable staff members to maintain a good work-life balance and its merits. For instance taking a break off duty eliminates burnout , productivity nosedive, mundane and reduced sickness episode among workers.
Additionally, this change in rostering boosts productivity because staffs returning from duty off are more focused, energetic and mentally balanced . These in turn increases work speed and accuracy. Also there is better customer service outcome which promotes the care quality rating of the company.
Your sincerely,
Opara Maryann
