Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to express my concerns regarding your upcoming project to build a new shopping center in our neighborhood. While I completely understand your intention to boost commercial businesses, there could be major consequences that could disturb our future.
Firstly, the main issue that everyone will face will be traffic congestion. Therefore, it will be very difficult for people to leave for work during business hours. Moreover, we can all notice the struggle on the main road, where parents arrive late to schools due to the gridlock at drop-off hours in the morning. Even the shortage of parking space will be another matter.
Furthermore, the impact on the environment would worsen the situation more deeply. There are a lot of trees and shelters for birds; cutting down the trees would actually create big problems for all of us. The noise and air pollution will rapidly increase.
I would highly appreciate it if you would focus on improving the local parks and library. Another recommendation would be to open similar shops in the area. These will meet the residents’ needs as well.
Yours faithfully,
Ana Amder.
