Dear Madam,

I write this letter to inform you that I would like to work as a volunteer in your hospital. I just red your announcement in a newspaper where you explain that you are looking for people who can help for free in the hospital and I think I am the right person to do that. I don’t mind that it is an unpaid work because I recognise the importance of helping people that are in need. In addition, I have already worked as a volunteer for a charity association and, for this reason I completely understand why you do not have the resources to pay everyone.

Moreover, I am a psychology student so for me it would be great if I can have the opportunity to work with people who are struggling with mental health. In this way, I can put in practice what I’m studying and I can understand how working in an hospital works. In addition to that, I think I can easily help you tiding the rooms if needed.

I guarantee my presence on Monday and Tuesday in the morning and also during the weekend as I am currently working only during the afternoon.
