Dear Larry,
How are you doing, I got a letter from you yesterday, saying that the noise from my house flat during the day is “extreme” and I understand you completely. That is the reason why I’m writing back.
If you recall correctly, this new development started 2 weeks ago, because my elder sister dropped off her kids with mine for the holidays. It has been such a difficult job controlling 6 young champs all alone, that I didn’t notice the extent of their noise.
I sincerely want to apologise to you especially, since you are my immediate neighbour and have been so accommodating and nice to my family and I. I promise to speak to them first thing tomorrow morning and also keep them busy to reduce their play time. Even though they love to enjoy their afternoons, I will ensure that they take a nap at mid-day to avoid disturbance.
Once again, I’m sorry for the inconvenience, and hope to have a great chat with you at the Christmas barbeque as usual.
Thanks.
Sarah.
