It seems like that humanity was succeeding in every field of science a century prior to these days. The same might not be said in our time. Although we have advanced in some areas of life there are still the ones need to be touched for new improvements.
On the one hand, a qualitative work has been done in a few areas of knowledge by the people of our time within a hundred-year period. One of the prominent advancements was made in technology. These innovations have significantly changed the way of people live for the better. For example, a humanoid robot with artificial brain has been introduced to the world and people are harnessing its power to get work easier in ranging from complex arithmetic calculations to simple tasks in everyday life. Another field of science exposed to investigations and researches is space exploration. Human race also moved forward in study outer world. Scientists made enormous body of work by revealing data about the space which have interested people for millennia. For example, water like texture has been informed to be found on Mars that might be used by humans in upcoming years.
One the other hand, there are aspects of life should be focused on to make progress. Medicine is one major area of improvement that needs to be given priority. Since, people around the global are under the risk of getting infected by diseases which are difficult to be cured. Take COVID 2019 as an example, medications prescribed for the illness failed to combat in most patients which indicates how weak the whole industry is. Moreover, the field of ecology ought to be the target for countries to create promising plans in order to take actions. To make it clear, environmental problems are imposing a thread on humanity. Greenhouse gases, air contamination or floods are the signs that we have to tackle the issue.
In conclusion, people in the past century were likely to exceed the time in all spheres of life compared to those of in our period despite advancements in technology and space exploration we made. Some fields of science should be brought to higher level so that people can be ready to withstand any problems they might face in future, such as pandemics or environmental conditions.
