Some people believe that individuals should stop working once they reach retirement age. I strongly disagree with this view because older people have more experience and skills than other employees in an institution, their presence can help an organization to achieve its desired goals. Another important consideration is that many retirees experience financial difficulties because they no longer receive a regular salary.
Firstly, people who have been working in an association for a long time often possess greater professional experience and practical skills than their younger colleagues. Experienced employees can not only help the organization to reach its destination but also assist the fresher in completing their tasks quickly and improving their skills. For example, Mr. Rashid is a manager of a company. He passed retirement age a few months. However, he got a promotion because he used his extensive experience to help the organization to accomplish a major project. So, if an institution holds its experienced employees it might benefit them to achieve their desired goals.
Secondly, many retirees face financial difficulties because they no longer earn a regular income and may not be entitled to a pension. Consequently, they might take out a loan or return to work. As we see, Mr. Rashid continued working and received a promotion and as a result he doesn’t have to experience any kind of economic problems.
In conclusion, it is not necessary for people to not continue to work once they reach the age of retirement. Their experience and skills can be beneficial to both the organization and the nation. And also stay away from financial difficulties they should carry on their work if it possible.
