There has been much discussion revolving around the issue of whether managers focus on personal abilities rather than experience and qualifications when hiring someone. I strongly disagree with this notion owing to the fact that job-specific knowledge s important and experience is crucial for problem solving ; Nevertheless it would be prudent the note that in some instances personal qualities can be enhance harmony in workplace.
There are several main factors support the idea of knowledge and experience about job is crucial. This can be explained by the fact that when the employer have professional background about job then this is good for company beacuse worker make less mistakes when doing a some projects. In addition to this if employee have background then there is a no need any training period for the job.
Alternative consideration is that experience is important for problem solving. This is because when the organisation faced to difficult situations worker’s experience help organisation to create effective solutions for problems. For example the suspense account found in clothing company’s annual balance sheet and employee which is have a good background can handle this problem.
However, it may be tempting to argue that sometimes worker with great personal qualities is good for workplace harmony. The central reason for this that qualities like kindness and generosity help to increase workplace’s energy. By this I mean this type of people have good communication skills and get on well with all workers and create balance between other workers.
In conclusion I partially disagree with statement that employers should consider personal qualities rather than experience and knowledge. This is because work efficiency and problem solving abilities is important for the job however; sometimes core values of human are good for workplace.
