Band 5+: A growing number of people rely on restaurants and convenience food (frozen food and packaged meals) rather than home-cooked food to supply most of their meals.

In this fast paced world, a majority of people have become dependent on fast food. As a result, people now rely on restaurants and convenience stores for the food rather than home-cooked food. This essay will discuss both advantages and disadvantages of eating this way.

Their are numerous demrits of consuming fast food on regular basis. One of the biggest negative consequence is contributing badly to health issues. The reason is that frozen foods usually are stored for days or for even a week, and on consuming these it will leave adverse effect on human body. The good example is if a person eats too much processed oil food, it increases the chances of heart related disease. Moreover, the ingredients are unknown which might harm your body. This results in bad diet as you are not in contoll what amount of ingridents are put in dish, and eventually metal health will be effected adversely. Consequently, eating food outside regularly can negatively affect an individual, causing multiple health issues.

Although consuming frozen and packaged food have multiple disadvantages, people still prefer due to some reasons. One of the reasons is that fast-food is less time taking than home-made meals. This is because, cooking at home is done form starting to end, while in restaurants dish are made before, and kept in cold container to preserve it and utilize it when requested. For example, many cafes serve under 10 minutes, its only because they already had dish prepared. Furthermore, another advantage is that it has become quite affordable. The lower working class prefer it because even after acquiring all essential items for dish, they neither have time nor money that they could spend. Thus, there many positive aspects of fast food, as it assist underprivileged people to keep working.

To conclude, eating regularly at restaurants and convenience store might be not beneficial for your health and can lead to cognitive disease. However, positive aspects is that fast food is life support for poor people and long hours working individuals.
