Nowadays a huge amount of money is invested to oil searching, while this resource is limited, however there is an opinion that development of new power resources is more beneficial in future perspectives. It is crucially important to develop alternative resources, such as power from wind or solar, because it has defined potential for future generations. In this essay I will discuss both views in details.
On the one hand, the oil is very powerful resource and every country who owns it, make all efforts and push more money to increase the level of production, because it leads to incredible income.
For example, my home country has enormous oil resources and the government funds in development of various districts in order to discover some new places with black gold. In recent years, many countries are focused on production of oil, therefore spend a big portion of budget to it, decreasing its focus on alternative resources.
On the other hand, the power from alternative resources can give a lot of advantages for economic growth in future perspectives. Some countries are strictly dependent on oil export, therefore the government does want to rely on exports prices on oil, hence they invest for research and development of resources from solar panel or wind. For example, countries that have enough wind and sun during the year, such Spain and France, can partially substitute oil usage.
To sum up, due to limitation of natural resources, government should face the problem a head on and invest to renewable power more seriously, such as wind and sun. In my opinion, it is great , when country has rich natural resources, but if we consider future generations , we should make all possible efforts to discover new renewable ways of energy.
