Currently, the majority of people do not seek help when they face difficulties, such as making essential decisions, because they feel it is embarrassing or foolish. I completely agree with this observation.
On one hand, humans encounter many challenges and difficulties throughout their lives, experiencing both ups and downs. Therefore, having at least one companion or soulmate to share ideas and major decisions with is crucial to avoid hazardous situations. A second person can guide the first person in the right direction, especially if they have a strong understanding of each other. It’s important that the person you turn to would never lead you astray. For example, when I decided to change jobs, I consulted my parents. They provided me with a solid strategy to navigate this tough situation. I often turn to my parents in difficult times because of their wealth of life experience.
On the other hand, people often neglect the importance of building their confidence and critical thinking skills. There should be a balance between asking for help and developing self-reliance. When faced with challenging tasks, we won’t always have someone available to assist us, so it is essential for each person to learn how to solve their own problems, even in tough situations. Hard times create strong individuals. Strong individuals create good times. Good times create vulnerable individuals. And vulnerable individuals create hard times.
In conclusion, everyone needs to know how to handle worst-case scenarios, and there should be a balance between seeking help and fostering self-sufficiency.
