The world is changing rapidly throughout time; even the changes that happened 10 years ago are absolutely fascinating, and probably the value of a person was the most affected one.As we can all see in the present,a person’s worth is mostly judged by their wealth and social position. On the other hand,the old classy values such as integrity, compassion, and honesity no longer hold importance in judging people’s values. I furiously disagree with this statement.
Although I have to admit that material possessions and social status do play a good part in ‘polishing the outside of the chest’ as most people usually judge a person by their appearance and affluence in property,I can’t deny the crucial factors that make a person a valuable person, which are honor, kindness, and trust. Remember,Don’t judge a book by its cover. Maybe wealth and status make them look beautiful and precious on the outside, but you never know what inside them and that should make you skeptical about trusting if you don’t know much about them. For example,one of the juniors in my school found 100 thousand VN dong and gave it back to my teacher. Later, he was congratulated in front of the whole school by the principal.
