A number of children who are classified as obese rose which lead to growing health issues. Very heavy advertisement and children preferring to eat junk food has caused an increasing amount of children to have difficulties with their health. This essay will discuss the causes of this trend among children and explore some possible solutions.

Furthermore, ever since fast food and sugary snacks gained popularity, has this been an increasing problem. One of the main causes is that snacks and other forms of junk food nowadays are getting progressively popular and are internationally advertised and targeted for children. But after all, it is the parents who should be in control of what their children meal habits are. As a result, children who are not aware of how junk food affects their bodies get obese which then causes a number of other health concerns.

Moreover, one of the ways this problem could be reduced is if the parents teach their young how to balance meals. Balancing does not only include a strict diet that would contain fibers and vegetables, but also knowing how to eat junks to an appropriate amount for your own pleasure. This would not only have taught them how to regulate their wants with their needs but would also solve any future diseases for happening. For an instance, eating sugar in desserts or chips will not hurt if done in a small amount. Parents could initiate a rule for junk weekends which would satisfy their children.
