There is no denying the fact that air pollution is considered one of the most pressing issues worldwide. This state of affairs can be attributed to a host of factors and some viable solutions that can be adopted to alleviate this problem will be outlined in this essay.
One of the most significant contributors to air pollution is the rise of industrial manufacturing. In the light of industrialization and modernization, clearly, the number of facilities and industries has increased significantly, releasing fumes from industries plants. At a result, they released to the air a large of carbon dioxide, which trigger pollutants into the atmosphere. Additionally, the emission of gases from various means of transport is one of the contributors to air pollution. This can be explained by the fact that citizens having a tendency to using their personal vehicles on a daily basis, emitting a large number of fumes into the air, which has worsened the situation.
As worrying as the aforementioned problems sound like, I am convinced that these obstacles would be tackled if the following approaches are adopted. The fist solution is the government could levy a steeper tax on companies or facilities that release excessive harmful gases into the environment, which help to reduce pollutants into the atmosphere. In addition, citizens should be encouraged to use public transportation such as buses, trains or subways instead personal vehicles. It can help us not only protects our Earth from being polluted but also enhance the quality of our living environment as well as improve our health in the long term.
In conclusion, the problem of air pollution may stem from different reasons. However, I would argue that this issue can be addressed if the proposed measures are implemented.
