There is an ongoing discussion that all large establishments should provide sports and community facilities to the local community. I fully agree with this statement and believe that the large companies should provide their facilities to the local people.
The bigger corporations own a large amount of resources and are extremely rich and powerful to buy those items again in the blink of an eye. Providing the locals with these services would definitely have a big impact on the locals and also they would be worry free of providing their children with these amenities and spending extra money. Although, it is a huge deal for the companies to provide these equipments because after some time the locals would be dependent on them for the resources. If for whatever reason they are not able to provide sports facilities then the native community would be dissapointed. For example, Manchester United Football Club, one of the biggest football clubs in the world, organises a charity football match each year for the locals of Manchester, even kids, to play at their outstanding stadium in front of a sold out crowd. This helps raise money for charity and also allows some local Manchester United fans to create a once in a lifetime memory that they will cherish for years to go by. The advantages of such an event certainly outweighs the drawbacks of providing sports and community facilities to the local citizens.
In conclusion, supplying the communities with sports facilities is unquestionably a difficult thing to do but once it has been figured out, seeing the local children happy, playing their favourite sport without spending any extra money for sure pursues the companies to further provide these resources.
