Private companies contribute to a large proportion of the nation’s economy. In this essay, we will discuss whether these companies are to be held responsible for providing facilities to the local communities.
Private companies have a significant impact on the livelihood of the people living in the nearby areas. The general masses tend to look for employment in these companies owing to their rapid growth. But these private companies have been founded by an individual and its success accounts to their extreme hard-work and talent. The local government must be responsible for providing sports and social facilities and not these companies. People pay taxes and vote for the government of their choice ,expecting them to provide and support their well-being. The only responsibility of these companies is to provide employment opportunities to the local community.
The government’s key priority is to ensure that the community is being well taken care of and provided with all facilities to keep the community at harmony. Sports and social facilities are basic essentials required by citizens of all ages and they shouldn’t be deprived of that opportunity. The local administration authority should ensure that adequate funding is allocated for the construction and maintenance of these facilities. Although, the big companies can provide these facilities out of their own good will it isn’t a necessary condition to satisfy.
In conclusion, the motive of the big companies should not be to provide the local community with adequate facilities.It’s the governments responsibility to develop the local community.
