It is true that in modern society, a growing regularly of satellites that are set by space x and space junk is about to cause peril to the Earth. There are various possible reasons for this, but steps can definitely be taken to address this issue.
In my opinion, there are two main factors contributing to such attitude. Firstly, the greediness of humanity has been increasing over the past decades and wanting to settle satellites for each country. Because in a world of contemporary technologies, setting satellites kind of gives a reputation for its country, or this creates opportunities to learn more about space. The second reason could be the internet. The internet has become one of the most considerable resources and has been developed for many years. Under the purpose of improving the network, folks launch satellites into the space. For example, Japan has set over 10 rockets for a better internet connection.
However, there are several ways to solve this problem. I believe activing cleanup methods could be a superb solution. Illuminate those space derbis unless they make a huge negative impact on our planet. For instance, concepts like ESA’s clear space-1 mission aim to capture and remove debris. Additionally, recycling and reusing techniques should be done. As long as we reuse them, it will be environmentally friendly. The less flown satellites, the less fresh air and less damaging to ozone layer.
In conclusion, despite reducing space junk, which is a major challenge, there can be found effective solutions.
