In recent years, people have more tendency to study overseas. Some people argue that the benefits of studying abroad are of greater significance. Meanwhile others believe that they need to spend a lot of money. In my perspective, it is better for people studying in other countries.
On one side of the argument, there are individuals who hold the opinion that studying abroad will cause financial burden. The most compelling reason for believing this is that they need to waste significant financial cost of attendance, such as tuition fees and books which are not affordable for some international students due to the currency gaps. Moreover, they need to pay extra money for accommodation and living expenses. In some cases, most foreign students run out of money to fulfill their expenditures, therefore they need to work to earn money which could reduce their study time. As a result, in spite of focussing on their study, people will be busy working part-time to fulfill their necessities.
Despite the above arguments, I am of the view that pursuing their study in other countries will prove more beneficial. As well as this, a subsequent factor could be because foreign institutions offer excellent quality of education. In fact, prestigious universities in developed countries have advanced technology tools to support their learning activities, such as modern interactive projectors and virtual reality labs. Moreover, top-tier universities employ highly qualified faculty who are expert in their field by utilising cutting-edge teaching methods. Additionally, it is my opinion that studying abroad can build a global network of contacts. As networking can open doors to jobs in top tier companies through internships they get from college. After graduating, it is possible that they could join and become a part of that big company.
In conclusion, while both views are commonly held in society, I am firmly convinced that studying abroad gives many positive impacts. Owing to the fact that people can experience better courses due to sophisticated educational equipment and skillful professors. Moreover, people may broaden their networking for future careers. Given this situation, it is recommended that people should study in developed countries to get the finest education, high-paying job opportunities, and networking.
