The number of professionals, such as doctors and teachers, who choose to leave their unwealthy countries to seek a better future and immigrate to developed countries increases day by day. This essay will first argue that the biggest problems causing this issue is dissatisfaction due to working conditions and low salaries and suggest that the solutions to these problems are bettering the conditions of work places and increasing annual wages.
Doctors and other professionals of the health industry are the individuals who tend to immigrate to first world countries more often. Most of these individuals working in the medical field are unsatissfied with their working conditions, since they work late night shifts and are not earning the amount of money that they deserve. For instance, a medical school graduate in Turkey would earn around 22.000 turkish liras which is the minimum wage for the country currently. This salary is considered inadequate considering the fact that they had to study for 6 years in university. This leads to them considering moving abroad for better opportunities.
Moreover, some solutions could be found for these problems. In my opinion, the government should regulate the working hours of health care workers and increase their salaries. The late night shifts could be decreased and new working hours could be designed according to the complaints of the individuals. For example, if doctors had more humane conditions to work in, they would perform better during work hours and continue making positive change in their home country. These changes could help the professionals reconsider the future of their career life.
To conclude, the problems of terrible working conditions and low annual wages could be solved by creating better working environments and applying an increase in salaries.
