Band 5+: Apartment Swimming Pool Survey Your apartment manager is surveying your opinion about the swimming pool in your building. Currently, your building has a swimming pool, but it is really old and needs to be renovated. Some tenants prefer to have a small gym instead of a pool. The apartment manager has asked you to complete an opinion survey. Choose the option that you prefer. Why do you prefer your choice? Explain the reasons for your choice. Write about 150–200 words. • Option A: I would like to keep the swimming pool. • Option B: I would like to have a gym.

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

The idea of renovating a swimming pool or building a new gym has been a subject of considerable discourse within the society. I posit having a new gym represents a far more appropriate alternative.

This stance crystallizes when considering the fact that all age groups of society residents can avail the benefit of the gym. However; one can access the gym throughout the year as it won’t be affected by cold weather.

Evidently, residents will save a lot of money if the gym is inside the society premises therefore they don’t have to pay for membership because it will be covered in societal amenities also the transportation cost while going to the gym will be saved as well.

Swimming, however, is also regarded as an enjoyable and important extracurricular exercise that falls under the umbrella of self defense. However, older members have trouble utilizing that benefit. Additionally, it will be challenging to preserve the quality of the swimming water and offer inclusivity.

Thank you for giving me a chance to participate in the survey. I am keen to learn about the measures that will be taken to address this pressing concern.
