It is often said that colleagues are not as essential as family members, and I will explain why in this essay.
Firstly, family members can sacrifice more than friends, which means that parents can invest their time and money for their children. For example, although they have more income for spending on their personal use, it can be saved and spent for only their children. A second positive factor is that parents can provide their children with mental and emotional strength, meaning that they will always stand by their side in happiness or any worse situations. For instance, if individuals suffer from depression, they tend to release their feelings to the family without stress. Finally, financial support can also be gained from relatives. By this we mean that the capital can be easily borrowed and invested into business. A good example can be that there is no financial difficulties in business due to affluent family members.
Admittedly, colleagues are come and passed into our life. Therefore, they could be a bad influence on us since that can have negative impact on our actions and behaviors. Nevertheless, parents always want us to progress for our life rather than friends.
In summary, I would agree with the view of family as there is not a balanced approach and the family definitely outweigh friends at any time.
