Since many individuals are relocating from rural areas to the towns, the population size in the countrysides are diminishing.Although there are some benefits of this trend,I believe that there are far more shortcomings.
On the one hand, trend of moving to urban areas has some positive aspects. The main advantage of this tendency is that it can help governments to reduce the number of poor population. For example, if people from rural regions move to urban areas, they will have wider options for work and the percentage of unemployment would be diminished, which can contribute to the reduction of the economically disadvantaged people, also by moving to cities rural residents would find more opportunities in order to develop their skills and their talents, which can lead to decreasing of the poor individuals as well.
On the other hand, despite the benefits mentioned above, I would argue that disadvantages far outweigh some possible benefits.Firstly, moving of the villagers to metropolises can cause overpopulation in the cities.Normally many people relocate to cities with the ambition of finding better job opportunities and more convenient lives which could be beneficial for some individuals, however if the trend rural-to-urban migration occurs quicker, it can cause overcrowding in the larger cities.Furthermore, the reduction of the population in the rural regions can contribute to the decreasing of the local and organic products which are produced in the countryside. This is because most of the people who are leaving countryside are the young generation, who are at their productive age and consequently if they leave rural regions there will be some difficulties such as the, shortage of young workforce, which can lead to a decrease in the availability of the organic and local products.
In conclusion, although there are some potential advantages of this trend,I would argue that it would have the negative outcome overall.
