In all over the world, a number of people in rural areas are declining because of moving to towns. This essay will argue it is a negative development.
The first reason why this is negative is that populations in cities are increasing without stopping. Thus it has some downsides namely, not having job opportunities and traffic jams. Firstly, most individuals are suffer from finding jobs. On the one hand, a vast majority of peasants’ abilities are not suitable for the requirements of the jobs in cities. On the other hand, if they are hired to work, this time urban population will be unemployed. Secondly, since growing people in towns, demand for transportations is risen, especially for buses and cars are the basic reason for exhorbitant traffic.
Moreover, decreasing of population in rural areas affects negatively to agriculture, because nowadays peasants do not have enthusiasm to work in village; hence, farming has a challenging situation about shortage of workers. Due to not taking care of crop fields, they are being eliminated day by day. Therefore, people from all over the world have difficulties for getting some products, namely eggs, milk, and meat.
To sum up, the migration of rural inhabitants to urban areas brings some challenges in employment opportunities and transportation. Nevertheless, it is necessary that to find solutions about this issue.
