Band 5+: Around the world, the rich are becoming richer and poor are becoming poorer. What is the cause of this? What solutions are there to tackle it?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

World statistics show that rich people are getting more rich and poor people are getting poorer. Unfortunately this fact is true. In this essay I discuss some its causes and opine about the problem which could be solution to the trouble.

Firstly , nawadays the population of the world is increasing day by day. But there is not enough workplace for them. As a result labor market is getting cheaper and cheaper. In these situations poor people have to work for cheap and their earned money is not even enough to live. In contrast , rich individuals are using that cheap labor force and enriching more and more. It is a sad situation but unfortunately truth.

Secondly , as the inhabitants of the earth is rising , food reserves are reducing. This fact impacts on the prices. The cost of living is becoming expensive. In African countries like Senegal , Kongo and Nigeria people are starving to death as not having nourishment. They are ready to work for only a loaf of bread. It is surprisingly that in these areas there is not much potable water. Many types of citrus fruits grow there. But rich persons who are businessmen buy the fruits at low prices from them and sell at high prices. It is also one cause of the problem.

I think state governments should make political systems which riches are taxed dearly and poor are compensated by the state economical organizations. In this case , we could balance in financial matters.

In my conclusion , governments and internation organizations ought to do more to reduce the poverty.

Giving detailed descriptions of crimes in newspapers and on TV can have negative consequences, so it should be restricted. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Some people argue that detailed reports of crimes in the media, including television and newspapers, can have harmful effects and should therefore be banned.
