Of late, there has been a stark polarization between two sections of society regarding whether Arts and Crafts should be considered as a healthy activity for citizens and they should be encouraged more to take it or not. This essay will consider a possible debate on this issue before arriving at an apt conclusion.
On the one hand, those who oppose arts as not a healthy hobby often claim that everyone is not interested in taking arts and crafts as their hobby as it consumes more time. In other words, people would be more interested in activities where physical exertion can be done like football, cricket, tennis, and swimming where they can make their body fit and also feel energetic.
Conversely, the proponents who support keeping art and encouraging more people to choose it as healthy activity put forward point that, not only helps to release stress, but it also helps to think beyond the imagination power. This means that, when are in stress they are start drawing some scenic places on a piece of paper and while drawing they get calm, and once they get calm, they can think beyond their thought process, it could be good way to yield more productivity in the professional careers. Moreover, drawing paintings could also be way to earn more money apart from regular earnings like participating in an art competition, or displaying art works in art galleries.
To conclude, I strongly believe that, despite the claims made for not taking Arts and Crafts as a healthy hobby, the fact remains that art helps people to curtail their stress or anxiety and also increases their imagination beyond their limits.
