Undoubtedly, technology playsb a crucial role in education so the presence of tutor would not be matter in classrooms and I disagree with this view because human contact is essential for students and I will explain my reasons in the coming paragraphs.
To commence with its views, there are plethora of reasons why teacher existence is more important but the predominant reason is, tutor teach social skills and moral values despite of academic subjects. In other words, they teach the importance of studying in group, collaboration, discipline and how to respect other people because these skills help students in long run. By contrast, it is impossible for computer to provide these guidelines to pupils. A survey was conducted by LLA community in 2019 show that, 80% of college students had lack of social skills and their behaviour and actions were different than 20% other students who were continued their study from computers at home. As a result educators are more likely to provide social values in comparison of machines.
On the other side, advancement in technology made it possible to continue study without the help of teacher because students can access online learning platforms through internet and provide opportunity to learn through quiz and games which is more fun and engaging for students. For instance, Indian government gave free mobile phones to students in 2018 so that students can improve their work performance by learning from online resources and YouTube channels. Apart from that, students who are brilliant can study on their own pace and they do not need to attend that easy lecture which they already understood. Consequently, it is indispensable to say that there is a no need of tutor if they have power of technology.
To conclude, although, computers help pupils in learning and improve their study progress, machines cannot take the place of teachers in teaching social skills including teamwork, han group discussion communication skills and so on.
