Many a doctor would advise their patients to control their beer consumption so that they can stay healthy. In fact, the beer contains alcohol that could prove harmful if consumed in excessive quantities. Thus, I definitely agree with the idea that the consumption of beer should be reasonable as the alcohol contained in the beer can damage both mental health and physical health of a human.
First of all, I think that a person drinking excessive quantities of beer can suffer from non negligible health issues. In fact, the alcohol contained in the beer, if assimilated in immoderate amounts, can adulterate organs that are essential to the functioning of the human body. A typical example of an organ heavily affected by the molecule of alcohol is the liver. Indeed, the liver endures many difficulties when it has to handle a huge amount of alcohol at the same time. In the most extreme case, a person who drunk too much beer can fall into a coma as the liver is not able to treat such quantities of alcohol. In that case, tempering the consumption of beer is essential to preserve the health of the person.
Furthermore, an immoderate consumption of beer can lead to alcohol dependence and thus can affect one’s mental health. Many people become alcohol-dependent due to their unreasonable consumption of beer. But that dependence could prove perilous for their mental health. For instance, many scientific studies assert that dependence to alcohol can transform mentally balanced people into bipolar people, and can cause daily suffering for these people as it hampers their ability to communicate during different social interactions. As mental health is a critical aspect of one’s global health, consuming immoderate amounts of beer can also endanger one’s physical health. These facts constitute another argument to support the moderation of beer consumption for anybody.
To conclude, I strongly believe that consuming beer in moderate quantities is inevitable to one who wants to stay healthy. In fact, the alcohol contained in beers is deleterious for one’s mental and physical healths. As a consequence, I heavily agree with physicians who advise to moderate beer consumption.
