In the current era, many public figures have the chance to purchase various expensive items as a result of earning much money without taking care of other people, especially impoverished people. I believe that governments hold the responsibility to remediate this problem.
To begin with, many people believe that celebrities like singers, actors, footballers, and bloggers on social media make enormous monetary gains from their fame. In addition, these notable people show their overpriced houses, jewelry, cars, and even foods through pictures or video clips on social media platforms. As a result, these behaviors can hurt poor people. A prime example of this is Mohamed Ramadan who has a flair for singing, and displays his wealth without mattering other people who truly need help. Hence, it can be said that influencers earn much money which can help them to buy different expensive goods.
Furthermore, other agree that authorities should put high taxes on highly expensive items. In other words, when governments set high taxes on rich celebrities’ things and give this money to other people who need it, they will gain people’s satisfaction and achieving justice among people. For example, a study conducted by researchers at Cairo University, it was revealed that organizations are the solely responsible for addressing all the problems that could occur from celebrities.
In conclusion, after highlighting the above-mentioned points, it can be reiterated that public figures usually buy too expensive things without caring other who need to aid. Therefore, I agree that high taxes can help to reduce this situation.
