I completely agree with this idea because in recent years, gadgets mostly influences the daily lives of children negatively.
On the one hand, many parents prefer buying a new mobile phones for their kids considering several factors. Because owning a phone for children allows to stay in touch, find directions, and for educational purposes. For example, a students without a an Iphone in elementary school might lack the opportunities of calling his parents or feel disconnected from his classmates. For this reason, majority of residents decides to afford a personal smartphone for children in order to contact easily with family.
On the other hand, a number of people suggest that owning phones at a young age has several disadvantages for children. According to recent research, having private mobile phones among kids leads to an excessive screen time on social media, poor academic performance, and an aggressive behavior. For instance, by giving a smartphone for a children aged around 5-11, parents may not be aware of reduced physical activity, terrible sleep quality, and posture problems which are caused by mobile phones. According to these examples, letting your children to own personal phones can be harmful in both academic and social lives.
In conclusion, having computers or smartphones for children in elementary school has more disadvantages that outweigh its benefits. To sum up, controlling your kid from using phone for detrimental purposes could be the best option.
