Statistically, the children who grow in a family with need in money become more self-sufficient compared to children whose parents always solve problems for them. However, opinions in our society are divided into 2 different groups. While ones consider who suffers from money always try to deal with obstacles without intervention of parents, other definitely can’t make decisions without their parents.
Firstly, the children who are in need try to help to their parents financially. Which is the reason why they start to work starting from their teenage era. Moreover, they could study and in the same time earn money to support their parents. However, it is not always the same. Due to lack of time and money, they mostly quit from their universities and completely go into their work which is mostly physical work. Otherwise, they do great career when it comes to business. Because most of the children start to earn their first money by selling something. As an example of it, Ralph Lauren who started selling ties and finally end with opening own corporation in 1967 and become one of the most successful entrepreneur of all time.
On the other hand, it depends on how parents will upbring their children. If they teach them to be hard-working and independent, they will grow self-sufficient and independent. However, in our fast-growing life there are bunch of over-caring parents, who always make decisions and interfere into their children lives with dealing every single problem that they face. Scientifically proved, that parents mostly lead the way into dependency of their children. Furthermore, due to over reliance on their parents, they become laid-back and lazy without having any goals in their lives.
To sum up, if parents upbring their children properly, it wouldn’t be a big problem for children to make own decisions and deal with challenges. Finally, the parents are responsible for their children upbringing and only they decide whether children will grow goal-oriented or just dependable and rebellious person in the future.
