In today’s world, climate change is regarded a major threat to life on Earth, but some think that we need to accept it rather than try to stop it. I completely disagree with this point of view, because I believe that we still have time to tackle this issue and reduce the human impact on the Earth’s climate.
There are a variety of actions to prevent climate change issues. If we can not completely prevent these issues, we can contribute to preventing. For example, carbon dioxide has several harmful impacts on nature, especially due to its accumulation in the atmosphere. The main one of the harmful effects on nature is pollution. Major sources of carbon dioxide emissions, such as the burning of fuels and industry activities, as well as transportation, also lead to air pollution. This harms the environment and can cause health issues, such as respiratory issues. Also, the most significant effect of climate change is the rise in global temperatures. This increases heat on Earth. This leads to more frequent droughts and extreme weather events. Additionally, the melting of ice caps is expected by increasing heat. The melting of ice caps may also lead to flooding.
If we do not deal with these issue, I believe that the consequences will be disastrous. To give just one example, if flooding occurs in coastal areas due to the melting of ice caps in Antarctica. Most of people in coastal areas are likely to become homeless. This leads tofamine and poverty. These outcomes are bad for all of us.
In conclusion, I think that we need to try to stop climate change rather than we accept it. Because we still have a time to resolve this issue
