The most relevant work experience to the Master in Management is my journey at G4S, as it helped me develop a holistic view of business and value the importance of soft skills in daily tasks.
Before this, my unique professional background was in SMEs, so there were many new areas to me. Fortunately, I went through an induction process that gave me a glance at them, so I understood their importance. Since then, I have seen organizations as a whole system, where each department is responsible for making it work.
At the same time, I was part of a diverse team with different backgrounds and personalities, but we were a whole as we worked to reach the area and company goals. After a couple of months, I was promoted to the assistant position, in which I was in charge of the new intern. This was a new and whole experience, but it was exciting to support and give them advice, as they had done for me during my internship.
This experience undoubtedly broadened my horizons in the business world and pushed me to develop new soft skills that are valuable in my professional career and my personal life.
