Many believe that the best way to be a highly qualified employee is to finish college.On the other hand, others think that gaining skills and experience from life is much more essential.This essay will analyze both arguments before giving my viewpoint.
On the one hand, Many individuals believe that our skills and experience can play a crucial role in finding a good job.For instance, Jobs that are correlated with business and management are not obligated to be university alumna. Moreover, flexibility for situations, leadership, and cooperative skills are gained in life lessons in a way that a college education cannot. Thus, the employer can hire an employee with essential skills than education. However, it is questionable if all types of jobs do not require education in college.
On the other hand, it is also valuable if we think from other perspectives.Others say that having a certification in tertiary education is highly impacted on having a good job. If there are two job applicants, one of them has finished a degree in his job, while the second applicant is not an undergraduate. As you have a certificate with proof, you will be several steps ahead compared to those who are not undergraduates. Also, Some jobs such as doctors and teachers are mandatory to have a tertiary education. For example, the car company ‘Huinday’ and the company smartphone devices ‘Samsung’ are looking for employees from KAIST and other prestigious universities. Therefore, this example makes it clear that having a knowledge of the university is essential.
In conclusion, I believe both arguments have their merits. On balance, however, I feel the majority of people will choose education mandatory to have a good job. This is because by studying in a contemporary university you can gain skills, experience, and knowledge, so it outweighs the benefits of not being an undergraduate.
