Band 6+: Consumers are facing with increasing number of advertisments of from competing companies

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

In today’s world, people are exposed to more advertisements than ever before. These advertisements often have a strong influence on consumers, but there are also ways to protect them from negative effects.

Advertisements have a big impact on people’s buying decisions. For example, companies use celebrities or emotional messages to make products seem more attractive. Social media platforms also show ads based on people’s interests, which makes them harder to ignore. Many people buy products not because they need them but because the advertisement made them want them. Young people are especially affected because they are less experienced and may not understand the tricks used in ads.

There are some ways to protect consumers from the negative effects of advertising. First, governments should check advertisements to make sure they are honest and not misleading. For example, companies should not be allowed to make false claims about their products. Second, schools can teach children how to think critically about advertisements. This can help them make better choices. Finally, people can use tools like advertisment blockers to avoid seeing too many ads online.

In conclusion, advertisements influence consumers a lot, but there are steps we can take to reduce their power. Governments, schools, and technology can all help people make smarter and more informed choices.

Nowadays, there is an increasing number of daily use goods being transported over long distances. While this tendency may offer some benefits, I believe that the drawbacks significantly outweigh them. On the one hand, as the transport industry allows a worldwide trade between countries, this allows them to export products, which they are known for […]

it is neither possible nor useful to provide university places for a high proportion ò young people. to what extent you agree ỏ disagree?

It is believed that providing university places to a considerable number of youngsters is unnecessary and useless. I largely disagree with this view because of the potential benefits that universities can give to young people. To begin with, tertiary education is an aspect that secures youngsters’ successful future. Universities are a pertinent case in point; […]
