Numbers have fascinated me for as long as I can remember, and I knew that this is what I wanted to pursue a career in. At USC, I’m excited to further my education in Finance as my 1st choice or Business Analytics as my 2nd choice major.
Finance, in general, is a broad field, and there are multiple branches of it, but I knew that I wanted to thrive in an extremely fast-paced environment. Influenced by multiple figures in my life, I knew I wanted to be an investment banker.
Simultaneously, my aspirations in Finance have also sparked my interest in Business Analytics. During my internship, I got the opportunity to witness data-driven decision making in real-world applications. The power of the blend of analyzing data and strategic thinking is undeniable for businesses and economies.
The Marshall School of Business, which offers both of my sought-after majors, is also very competitive, and many of its graduates have secured job opportunities in highly ranked finance and consulting firms. USC has arguably one of the best alumni networks, and their strong Finance & Business Analytics programs are best known for a great return on investment.
Graduating from USC’s Marshall School of Business would not only enhance my knowledge in the fields of my interest but also set me up for future success in the business world.
