It has been discussed for a long that developed countries should provide poor countries with other types of help rather than financial aid. I believe that developed countries can give other types of support to poor countries.
The government of a poor country needs to be able to use the donations from other countries in a relevant way. For instance, in some countries, officials can not manage the financial aid that has been given to their country so instead of using it for first aid needs they use it for unnecessary developments like building some new amenities while the citizens are in high demand for medical service.
On the other hand, authorities who get financial support from other countries tend to use this money for their individual needs. For instance, hundreds of corruption cases were revealed by the police in countries like Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. Moreover, these authorities do not even have half of the financial support for developing the essential aspects of the nation, like providing them with clean water and food.
In addition, giving money to poor countries might negatively influence the economy of developed countries, instead of giving this money for the development of a poor country they can use it for their benefit, like advancing road systems or reconstructing cultural heritages.
In conclusion, poor countries should not be provided with financial support because of the corruption and lack of knowledge for managing with them. Therefore, developed countries should provide poorer countries with a source of food or free medical check-ups.
